I just wanted to address this quick. 

While it's apprecited that you'd be willing to meet the needs of a smaller team, I'd never want to have to make a clan/team tell it's members they can't play because the teams would be grossly uneven. ...Hell, I'd rather take 8 or 9 guys against all 30 of ya, just so that every one of you that wanted to and were able to got a chance to get in on the fun.

I like large scale.. I think most of us here can agree on that. Which is why I came up with the idea to approach VTRX.. 2 clans (as small as they are) = more guys on the field for you to fight = more of you guys that can fight and not grossly outnumber the other team

And as to this: "So looking forward to this, and many more, I can hardly stand it. Ready to go right now!"

Amen to that.. I get giddy every time I think about this.

I think there might be a little misconception hehe. We have 30 members for a reason. We don't want to be able to only field a squad or two of 5th once in every blue moon, we want to see a squads worth all the time. We have 30 folks but getting any more than half of them to be able to commit to a single day is going to be the exception, not the rule. We aren't gung ho and don't require anyone to attend any of these events. For example right now we have 15 committed to playing 5th vs. the world.

So that is why we have a large roster, just so we have a constant presence. Don't expect to be able to face off against 20-30 5th at a time except on rare occasions. We'd have to double our numbers to make that happen lol!

All I really meant to suggest is that 16 on 16 might be what we should shoot for, and adjust up from there if its possible, but I think that is probably the realistic number.

We could always use fill ins from the ranks of the regulars to even things out if we needed too. Plenty of folks out there that would step in for us i'm sure.

True true. If it's only 16 v 16, that's cool.. but for me, I say the more the merrier.. which is kinda why I'm pushing for the timeframe I mentioned.. the more notice, the more chances that more people can clear their schedule.

haha and I understand all too well, the logistics of trying to get people together.. we're up to 23 members now, and sometimes still have trouble making an 8 man TWL team for some matches. ..and I've already sent two "harrassment" PMs to the guys that haven't signed up (or said they couldn't) for the {HRD} Open ...I'm pushy

One thing we are, though, is highly enthusiastic about wanting to do a clan v clan scrim... we had a great time when we scrimmed =PHX= so very long ago, and have been positively bursting at the seams to do it again. So I wouldn't be surprised if almost everyone in {HRD} that likes 2142 enough to play it (or doesn't have some rediculous objection to allying with VTRX for this *cough*rooster*cough*) turns out for this, as long as scheduling allowes.

This is going to be one of the most enjoyable things that has happened at TTP, no matter what happens.
The timeframe should work out well, hopefully the one after that will come a bit quicker.
