Just a heads up...

At 8:00 am Saturday morning; yesterday; I experienced a stroke. I'm not kidding, it's the real deal. Now, I'm okay, I'm just numb down my left side, kindof like how it feels when a dentist's anesthesia is wearing off.

I had a TIA or "Transient Ischema Attack", or mini-stroke. This is usually a warning sign of a possibly more serious condition, and that is why I've been in the Hospital since yesterday morning, having test after expensive test performed, to be sure I don't have that more serious problem.

I'll probably not have any long term problems, and the current symptoms will likely go away in time. But, as you may imagine, this will cause a change in my lifestyle, starting with reducing stress. So, playing online games will have to take a back seat.

I may be off the radar for a time, but I'll keep in touch and let you know how things are going.

Damn dude, that is good news that things appear to be ok and improving, but sucks that it happened at all. Take care of yourself, and get back to us as soon as you can.

ah shit - I am glad that you're ok right now and I hope that all of the tests come back with good news and provide a means of addressing whatever underlying causes there might be.
