i just reupdated to vista. ive been told that a new update fixed the problems i was having so ill see how it works. if im not on any games or anything im not dead....but ill be killing my comp. see you all soon.

Just made the switch recently myself. Running on Vista Ultimate, and can't really complain about much yet.

well starcraft works fine. all my files are working. none of the cd or dvd drives internal work, although the computer knows they are there and work fine....my video driver isnt working at full yet (cant play 2142 or even css. cant use one of my external dvd drives its brand freaken new the lightscribe and it said vista ready on it

(my fav smile) havnt gotten some of the errors as before still some of the main ones. i couldnt use any of my old drives nothing would work at all just the on and off button.

What kind of setup you using? And what version of Vista do you got?

vista home premium dont need networking and hardware failure lol its all overclocked anyway. you wanna know my comp setup its all custom 1.25 gb RAM, cant remember how much hd space i have over 140 gb i think, radeon x1650 vid card, cant remember the other stuff i threw in there for laughs and giggles.

Vista doesn't work very well on Home from what I've heard or even on 32bit, at least for now.

I'm running Vista Ultimate 64bit and it works pretty well. No real problems to complain of right now. Slowly working out any problems I might have.

Can't really help without knowing more info though, sorry.
