Thread: About NY

Some of you might remember a several weeks ago I mentioned I might be heading to NY for a class trip of sorts.

Well while I was in Dallas this past weekened I was talking to a classmate who also has said teacher in charge of the trip (for a different class though) and based off of what he said, it looks like the trip might not happen.

The schedule was suppose to be for us to leave some time in late May but we have yet to hear anything official from the teacher and based off what I heard, it is not going to happen at all, too much bs from the school thinking it's not safe or something.

I will ask my professor tomorrow though to see if I can confirm this to be true or not. I hope we get to go still because I'd really love to be able to visit NY for a week and spend the time going to all the musuems there (like the Met!) because this teacher is really great and I know I'd enjoy it. Plus it'd give me a chance to maybe meet a few of our NY TTPers (Blackhawk).

Sadly though, it doesn't look like this will happen.

I will report back again when I find out more info but right now it isn't looking so good.

I did forget.

I didn't get to talk to my professor today as he was having car troubles so he cancled class as he wouldn't be able to make it for our class.

Guess I have to wait till Wed to try to talk to him.

So I was able to talk to my professor today, and we will not be heading to NY this May.

However, if he can get things worked out and people are still interested, we might be able to go sometime later this year, or next year...but we'll have to see how that goes since we all know how quickly things can change.
