So i broke down and bought a new copy of TFT cuz my old one was too scratched to install. My ingame name is Hades2099 but im thinking of making a new account for Menoske. Hit me up sometime and ill come pwn with yall.

I've never played DOTA, because I never got TFT after the hatred I had for the "Hero" units in WCIII. I hear a lot of people talking about it though. So what's so good about it seeing as how it is a part of a stragety game? I mean I like strategy games and all, but I'm not sure what's so special about DOTA?

I used to play DotA a lot a long time ago. Maybe I'll search for my old CDs and check out the new versions

I mainly posted here for Oni and a few other BDs I know that play it. I actually was a Dota map developer back in 2004, back when Guinsoo was building them. The game is like a pvp with a test. You each select(or random) or whatever dependign on the mode from a pool of unique heroes and battle it out trying to take out the other player team's base.

It's actually a very team centered game and a good team(regardless of heroes) can usually take out anyone. You can buy and build different items for your hero to help buff your stats or get new abilities, etc. It's an addicting game once you get into it, but its fun nonetheless.
