Figured as much with all you got in there. The 4GB of DDR3 was probably a huge part of that a lone, along with Blu-Ray player and the 9800GTX.

Although I heard a 9900 is suppose to be coming out "soon"...

Hmm, $4300 vs $984 I don't have to build it and you say your rig beat mine? Also I just built a new race car and two Fender guitars with the rest of my money. So who really won here.

Still me. I don't like race cars or guitars anyway. So can't use that.

Ok, in a couple of years both will be outdated and need to be replaced. Difference is you spent a whole bunch more money to play the same games and only a few fps faster performance. Also the car will win me back the money I spent on just the computer x4 easy. I win.......

I really wanted to spend more on the computer like I said in your other post. But the little wife said to spend more on the race car because it wins her money back and the computer doesn't. It's also time to buy a new laptop. The one I have now is just as old and outdated as my gaming rig. I will probably be ordering it soon and I just spent some more cash on the car today to make it faster(faster classes pay out better). So good luck with the new rig.

Amd Phenom X4 9550 Quad Core processor
160 Gb hard drive(it will be for gaming only so I don't need a terabyte of storage).
750 watt Ultra Lifetime Pro power supply
2 Gb PC8500 DDR2/1066 Corsair Dominator memory chips
Round cable upgrades and professional wiring thru out the chassis again.
    20X DVD+/-R/+/-RW + CD-R/RW Dual Layer 1st drive
    16X DVD rom 2nd drive
Nvidia Geoforce 9600 GT 512mb SLI vid cards X2
7.1 onboard sound(I opted for this again because of some of the problems with sound cards).
Microsoft XP Home OS(didn't care for Vista yet till they get all the bugs worked out).
No fancy water cooling or super cooler because I wont be overclocking anything and if I do I will just change that when and if I do overclock anything.
I figure this setup will last me another three or four years and by then some super new stuff will be out and I will have do it all over again.
Not bad for $984.00 which includes regular build time and regular shipping.
I don't have no figures yet because I don't have it yet. But anyone who knows these parts should have a pretty good idea what it should do. I also figure it wont be the fastest puter on the server but it will be alot better than what I have been playing on.

Also, the wife is getting the old one. I doubt she will be playing 2142 but she can use it for her homework and such and what little bit she will be using it she will probably get another three or four years out of it.
I'm so jealous. Although I got a 1000W Power, With 3 SLI 8800GT's and 780i motherboard. I roll fatt but I wish I had the extra stuff like the case, and stuff. I have a l33t cooling system though. Water liquid and like 12 fan *no joke*.
