    Season 12 Overview.

    Hey TTP'ers!
Just wanted to man up and tell everyone how we did in our first CAL season.

First off I would like to say that we always fought our hardest and played the best we could. We may have lost some battles, but this was a victory nonetheless. Over the course of the season I saw this clan become a team, and this team become a brotherhood. I saw members get close and get to know each other and just become great friends. I saw us start off as a group of CS players and end up a team of CS players.

We may not be the best team. Quite frankly, we're nowhere close. What matters is that we tried, and trust me, we will try again. We have learned about the game and learned how to truly back up your friendlies.

Now, on to the season itself. Our final record was 2-6. 2 Wins. 5 Losses, 1 BYE.
Trust me. We know. We're not the l337ness. However, we are working on strats for next season, and hopefully we can break even at 4-4. Maybe, as Defiance says..."GUYS WE COULD MAKE PLAYOFFS NOW RIGHT?"

I would like to talk about each player:

Phillip "Keiron" N. - Keiron stepped up and took Scheduler position for me, since I can't be checking CAL all the time because of my school situation. Thanks man. Keiron always tried his best in every match and displayed some major skill on some of those maps, including train, which helped bring us to a victory!

Cameron "monstercam" D. - Monstercam was very calm throughout all the matches and gave us some good strats on some of those, which helped us win contra. He displayed some rockin' rifle skills throughout each match and always seemed to do his part and come through for us.

Kevin "Defiance." M. - Defiance, Defiance, Defiance. What would this team be like without your excessively sarcastic remarks about failing. Particularly mine. Anyways, Defiance is our main awper, and almost always made that pick we needed or whipped out the deagle and owned some fools. On T-side train, he was poppin 2-3 heads a round. That made it so smooth. He always made that quick pick for us to advance, or held the surrounding areas of a site to keep us clean. Good job!

Moses "Money $$$$ $__$" D. - Money put a LOT of effort into this season. He always played his hardest and repped these tags multiple times. He always seemed to pwn face in scrims and matches, probably because he did. Money helped keep us positive, a major plus, and always did his job to contribute to our wins. (Money + Contra = wtfhax)

Rudy "::Rudy::" G. - Oh god. I'm not gonna talk much about myself, probably because I failed 65% of the time. It wasn't until the later part of the season that I started coming through for us. (11-6 T side Train baby)

Lauch "RePo" M. - Holy Crap! This was literally Repo's first scrim experience. He performed so much better than I expected. He simply RAPED FACE on contra and took TTP teamplay and threw it right into the scrim scene. He ALWAYS had our backs and put in the full Repoman force.

Kevin "Vip3r" D. - Vip3r, due to his work situation, couldn't play many times. However he did play for us on season and train. Viper, is a straight up offensive player. He's like a little kid after a couple sodas. He just can't sit still! He's always on the move, and that was just what we needed in those matches. Good pwnin', Vip3r.

Robert "Malice" D. - MALICE! Is a sneaky little bastard. We recruited him about halfway through the season, and it was a great decision for everyone. He fit right in with the other team members and joined our brotherhood quickly. Malice is a great player, and seems to preform well under high-pressure. He has clutched many times in scrims and matches and it has been a great help. He's an accurate shot with a good attitude and good strats to try.

Robert "Crazy.Fox" R - CrazyFox came back to { BD } after taking a break for a while. CrazyFox right off the bat was willing to try and get better, and he began practicing and focusing on his play style techniques and it SHOWED. He clutched 2-3 times on train, and is now pretty nifty with the deagle. His rifle skills were obvious, and he learns quick. Very..quick.

Thanks All, Thanks { BD }!
We'll try harder and do better for s13!

    -Rudy

Don't forget Axe. Although I don't think he played in any of the matches, he was always there for us ready to play in case we actually needed him even though he isn't too much of CS:S player (in terms of play time) as he is a 2142 player. Thanks for always being there for us and ready to go.

I'd say 90% of the time.

Truth be told though, our biggest problem seemed to be our defense on CT side for all or most of the maps. We seem to have T side done pretty well and can be pretty good when we're on the offense.

Funny you say that...Team Evolution had the very same problem our first season.

Probably from always playing T side at TTP. Also, having the mentality, "Can't give them the site, hold 'em off, backup is on the way". Once we learned it's ok to back off and give them the site so we can retake it with 5 rather than 3, we fared well.

    Re: Season 12 Overview.

I got my name for being aggressive but sneaky at the same time (reminder i got my start on starcraft.) I'm working on my defense on the servers, im trying to slow it down and not poke my big fat head out so people like mafia can kill me while shooting someone else (pisses the hell out of me.) Guys I think we did a great job. Most of us hadnt been in bd that long and this was a great way for you to really become and take bd to the next level.
