Well the Tahoe is a 4x4 and I have a Jeep Wrangler 4x4. I need them for when I go to the beach for surf fishing and occasionaly around my wife's grandmothers farm. I use to hunt(with gun and bow) but haven't in about 5 years now. I still shoot a bow but mostly for fun now. I have a new bow on the way(75lb Ferguson Longbow) it should be completed in the next couple of weeks. This one will be built by Zach Ferguson, he is the son of the famous longbow trick shot Byron Ferguson. I have several traditional bows both recurve and longbows and I have an original(not one of the cheesy Bear built) Byron Ferguson Royal Safari longbows(built by Byron himself) which pulls at my draw length around 90lbs. I'm also a competitive long caster(reason at my age I still workout). My longest cast in competition so far is 735.8 feet and have thrown farther in practice. I work in the automotive industry so yeah you could say I'm a car guy. How many guys almost 50 you know have H.I.D. lights in their Tahoes.
Not many I'd say, if any.

That's nice though. Good to be working with cars still and being good with your bow and arrow. 735 ft is pretty impressive if you ask me.

Well actually I have been shooting bows all my life and I use to do the drag race thing but no more. The car in my avatar is a 74 Pontiac Venture you were close on the Nova guess(they shared the same body). I also had a 77 Nova drag car but all gone now. Got out of it because my partner was tired of it and figured was a good time to sell everything.

Well 735.8' isn't a bad throw but I would like to throw farther in competition before I retire possibly this year may be my last to compete. I have been at it 7 years now and getting kinda tired of competing. I have just lost the urge and getting harder to find time to practice. There was two new guys last year already busting 800' their first year in competition. So with the reduced time to practice and the urge to do it makes it tough to keep up.

Yeah I hear ya. That sounds like it will be tough. Best of luck then and hope you do well in the competition.
