There is another possible method(sort of an exploit) using the sniper/pipe bomb/propane tank/oxygen tank to stun the witch, then run to her and bash her shoot bash shoot, etc. no matter how much lead you make her eat it counts as a cr0wn.

Fun fact: you can cr0wn her from about 5-10 feet away with the pump shotgun if your skilled enough with it. Takes two-three shots, might be possible to do it in one but I've never been able to.

I personally enjoy cr0wning her when she is on the run. I'll often times spook her from 40 yards away and cr0wn her as she's running towards me. Helps out a bunch in versus mode.

Another fun way to handle the Witch is to fool her, if you meet her on a high building. If you shoot her from distance, then WALK off the edge, so you are hanging, she wont be able to see you and will run off. She wont even switch to another target. Then a team mate can pick you up and you wont lose any health either.

First time I tried this was on Dead Air, Greenhouse Map. I had just crossed the plank bridge and saw her on the other side of the roof, and thought, let me try it. I shot her and walked off just in time as she lunged and fell to the street. I remember looking down at her and she was staring directly at me screaming her head off! I thought, what the fuck is wrong with her? I`d never seen her behave that way and it was a little unnerving. So anyway, Bill picked me up and we continued, but her screams kept getting louder and louder. She had fallen a long way to the street below and so I didnt believe she`d come after me again. But just as we entered the building I spun around just in time to see her red eyes lunged at me killing me instantly. Christ, I nearly shit myself!! LOL!!
But normally I does work.

Thats not an exploit..

I personally luv using the hunting rifle on witches when i get a chance.

When using a sniper against witches its a lil tricky.

The first shot in the head while shes crying stuns her. The next 4-5 shots you got to hit her after shes stumbled back, Then you need to re-line yourself up when she begins to come at you and MAKE sure you nail her in the head as shes comming at you. Every bullet counts, missing 2 shots will screw this up.

The biggest problem comes after she starts to come at you. Unless you are lined straight up with her and NOT that far away she might take a different route making it almost impossible to finish her off with that clip. And when that happens you either better have an escape route with a plan b, a moltov or some back up from you team.

Unless shes really REALLY far away, then she won't even move.

And its even funnier when you don't tell your team and you SPIKE her anyways. Nothing funnier than watching someone with a shottie go for a crown and just before they get to the witch you spike her. She ends up flying back wards and spookin the shit out of the crowner before they end up finishingh her off.

Its because the witch actually has to pick out her target and begin to attack to register "you startled" the witch. When shes caught in a stumble she won't register until she actually begins to attack who startled her.

Thats why if you get a sloppy crown with a autoshottie it will say "Player has startled the witch" even tho she dies a half second later. Its because the 1st shot didn't kill her, she tries to attack but the second shot kills her dead before she can land an attack.

Reason y i couldn't get it over weekend is because i transfer houses between weekends and weekdays.

If so can u tell me how u did it? Or at least some tips.

Be very careful with that, in certain spots - she can still kill you. Nothing was more suprising/enraging when I did it and she still kept on killing me. My team was PISSED at me.

I'd help you with that but, I sorta got mine by accident, it was strange, while playing with my friend on the death toll finale, two AI died, my friend got on the boat a tank incapped me and I still got it even though the achievement requires all survivor to have received no scratches from the finale.
