As I was reading this thread, I was just about to say that his Dad was an idiot, but you beat me to it.
But the thing is that since he is an idiot( no offense to your Dad, every body on this planet is one, even you and I} he probaly wont listen to reason, ESPECIALLY since he is a parent. So you have to try realy hard to get him to listen. So my advice is keep pesturing hm about it, and eventualy he will listen or just get sick of hearing you whine about and you'l get to play.

Whilst I sympathise with you.. I wonder if there is more to this than what you've written. As a mum to a preteen gamer (as I don't know your age then i'm just assuming you're young) myself I don't take a game off my kid.. If I don't think it's appropriate for him then he doesn't get to play it in the first place. Games like GTA for example are banned from the house.
It's already been mentioned.. but how long have you been spending on the xbox? What are you like when you're on xbox live? My son plays on xbox live and as soon as he gets bolshy with his teamates or extra loud because he's frustrated I pull the plug and make him do something else.
Is your dad using the violent game excuse to cover up his concern for how much time you're spending playing it? What are your grades like at school?
It's tough being a parent and trying to get the balance right.. some adults forget what it's like to be a kid and being prevented from doing something... but i'm afraid sneaking a fresh copy in the house is the wrong way to go about it. This is an adult game and you're going to have to behave somewhat in a more grown up matter if you want to get it back. Going down the path of sneakyness will only result in your dad pulling the parent card of 'i'm the boss you WILL do as I say' and I know you don't want that.

There's gotta be something else you can do instead of playing the xbox. If they take it, do something else. It's amazing that nowadays gaming is the #1 source of entertainment among kids, or so it seems. Get outside, bike, skateboard, play hoops, chill with your buddies, or simple hang out with your family. Get some exercise in that young body.

Well, to the first question, like I said before dusk and afterwards. To the second on, I don't make a sound at all if I loose, I just look up at the ceiling and close my eyes. xD''
And with my friend/friends, the only noise we make is laughing from shockment or a funny glitch. Sometimes we get so into it when we see a witch we whisper to each other to turn the lights off and everytime someone talks were like SHHHHHH. xD

Don't spend alot of time except on weekends, and my grades are average, and even when he took them away they stayed and even dropped down a little.
