ArmA: Armed Assault

Armed Assault is just the kind of game I’ve been waiting for. Technically speaking it’s not the sequel to the well-known Operation Flashpoint, but that is just a small technicality. This game is everything Operation Flashpoint was and more, much more.

On a different note, I also want to point out that Armed Assault is a very complex military simulator, so unless you really dig that kind of action this game may seem overwhelming. Because of its diversity, some missions are very fast paced, while others (the stealth/sabotage ones) seem really slow, uneventful and tend to drag out way too much.

Also keep in mind that Armed Assault is an open-world-kind-of shooter, so for the players looking for a Half-Life type game, this is not the game for you. However if you’re familiar with Op Flashpoint and you liked it, or are a fan of military vehicular simulators, don’t hesitate to purchase this release, it’s well worth it.

I believe that ttp has few Arma player, so if you are looking to get the clan into this game, that's cool, I may actually join i.....

but Arma 2 is coming out so you may want to find out about ttps plans for that before you buy.

I checked IGN, ARMA 2 website, and wikipedia, and they all say TBA 2008. I know that most of the good games ( Far Cry 2, fallout 3, left 4 dead) are coming q3, so I'd look for it q3 or q4.
