Thread: Why me?

So about three days ago I was enjoying a game of battlefield. The map of Highway Tampa. I was looking for a squad to join and see Kelderos and SlytherN in a squad. I join them because they are both great teamplayers and I've known them for quite a while now. What I wasn't expecting was when Kelderos and SlytherN told me, "You know and {HRD} would look good in front of your name." I think you guys were trying to tell me something that I could not just figure out (Just Kidding). Anyway I've been here at TTP for about 8 months now (not that long in the forums) but on the server. I've seen players come and leave, even regulars, that have been great players and teamplayers. Most of those players without a prefix before their name. So I was wondering, what is so special about me that interests you guys. Why weren't some of the other fine players been asked the same question?

We talk to many players both in game and on the forums. Some players are great on the field, but rarely, if ever, come by the forums. Others are active on the forums, but either don't play with our members enough, or don't quite have the same play style that we look for. And still others have been asked, begged, and even bribed, but for whatever reason just don't get into the clan thing.

All we really look for is plasyers dedicated to TTP, and to the teamplay values that we love. It does help to be good, but many of us prove often that is not a requirement. I am sure others will weigh in, but based on the times I have had you on my team, and the one time I have squadded with you in 2142, I think you match what we look for.

Question back at you: Why NOT you
You already have many of the assets we look for in a player. Dedicated to TTP, on the forums regularly, very good team player, and as far as I can tell, a good person.
You'd be surprised how many of the people you've seen come and go have not had the personality it takes to cut it in a group like ours. Too high strung or just a complete jerk LOL

Make no mistake, Dan, we're not singling you out.. there are many who we feel would fit {HRD} like a glove. Eventually we at least drop the suggestion to everyone on our "list" of people we think would fit. I don't know you as well as some of the others, cuz I've been slacking in my BF2ing and been focussing more on 2142, but I see your forum presence growing, and I trust Kelderos' and SlytherN's judgement.. if they say you'd fit, then I know you'd fit.

The choice, however, is entirely yours. You may think a prefix would not fit you, or perhaps you feel that an [SsT] or a =PHX= tag would look better than an {HRD} tag.. or you may fall in love with 2142 and decide to go for ::VTRX:: or the ][5th][.. any one of these is a valid choice, and one we'd respect.

Tag, no tag, {HRD} tag, or a "prefix" tag like Mouzykin wears, we'll still look forward to squadding with ya.

lol the tag was just a symbol...i don't care what tag looks good by my name, just kinda hoping you would catch the symbol

Oh I got it.. What my point was, is that we think you'd fit here, but if you decided you fit better elsewhere (other clan) or nowhere (not a clan but just TTP), we still would think you fit, but would respect your choice and enjoy gaming with you no less for it

Deffinately worth trying us for the 2 week checkin phase. I personally would love it if you tried us on for a while.
Me, myself have always enjoyed having you in the squad and really think you'd fit in nicely to our Clan. We would like to see your face here and I think you'd like it as well.
