Back to school

So yeah, im gonna try to go back to school by fall semester. I already got an AS in computer science and i hate my job and my choices in IT work.

So I want to go into programming for many reasons (mainly because im antisocial)

Gonna go see if i can talk to an advisor at Palm Beach State College tomorrow (cant find anywhere on their website where i can make an appointment).

Anybody know anything about how college works? Since I got an AS what would happen if i wanted to take this course

And the university is hella expensive and i would only be afford 1 class a semester so im gonna see what this place can offer me first since its a whole lot closer and less expensive

also... hypothetically speaking... lets say I already went to this college for one semester, flunked half of the classes, was put on academic probation, then never came back.

How do you think that would affect me going back.

you may be able to get a transcript from wherever you got your AS from, some of those classes might count for that program. It looks like that's a comprehensive program, not a single course.

I'm not sure, but I think you would apply just like an incoming student. Since you already have the AS then I don't think you'd qualify as a transfer. Is it the same school?

no theyre not the same school. But I did go to this school for 1 semester right out of high school because my mom said she would kick me out of the house if i didnt go to school right away, not giving me enough time to decide what i wanted to do with my life. After that semester I went to the other school got my AS there.
