Awesome man, :9 It is a great feeling when you drop that much weight. Everything becomes easier. That asshole staircase no longer bothers you to walk up it. I still remember being about 100 LBS heavier then I am now. It is quite a liberating experience.

Re: How to lose weight?
I lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks
what I did was eat lightly walked alot and worked out 2 times per week
also medication did its part too thanks to its ability to speed up my metabolism but thats because its an anti depressant... and thats a whole different issue...
Also don't go to fast food resturants every week those are a killer to your diet if you don't work out or sit on your butt most of the time...

NICE WORK! that's awesome to hear.
I've started getting into shape recently as well. I'm 5'11'' at 170 lbs and I'm hoping to lose maybe 10-15 lbs. I really don't care how much I weigh, I am more just concerned with building muscle and burning fat. I'll have a 6 pack one of these days :3 *grabs a carrot stick

Re: How to lose weight?
I have done a bit of a turn around myself, and I have dropped a good 30+ pounds (18 kg) since august 09.
Diet change (high protein, low fat, low glycemic index carbs), 3 sessions of cardio a week (1 hour runs in the beginning, now 2 1 hour runs and one session of interval training) plus 3 sessions of weight training. My fat loss is even greater since I have put on a good bit of muscle in that same period.
I also did some low intensity cross country skiing sessions of 3-5 hours replaced with cycling now that spring is here.
With climbing season starting I have dropped the weight training to avoid adding unnecessary bulk. Bouldering is the ultimate strength workout anyways. Interesting fun fact: Olympic cross country skiing gold medalist (multiple golds actually) Thomas Alsgaard substituted weight training with bouldering during his peak years as a professional skier.
Hope to reach my climbing weight of about 160-165 pounds by the fall. I'm now at 175 and 5'10.For when the One Great Scorer comes, to write against your name, he writes not that you won or lost, but how you played the Game
