Thread: I had a bad day

So, visited dad again today.

He's off life support much earlier than anticipated. They took his breathing tube out and took him off his sedatives.

He was still high on the sedatives obviously since they'd just taken him off them, but he was the most coherent he's been so far.

Actually pretty amusing since he was under the impression that his nurses were conspiring to kill him, and he wanted us to undo his wrist straps so he could escape. We eventually talked him down from that idea, and turned on some sports for him (He's a HUGE football fan).

So long as the blood clot in his arm doesn't cause a problem he's looking good and heading towards a full recovery.
