Thread: Iron Chef Morimoto

So, as some of you know, I've been down in Bradenton, Florida since thursday, visiting my grandmother. My flight, on jet Blue, went from Rochester to JFk (NYC) Airport. At JFK, after a 4 hour layover, I went to my gate to get on the flight to Sarasota airport.. while waiting, up walks someone very familiar to someone who watches Iron Chef as regularly as Julie and I do. One Iron Chef Morimoto! He gets in line, gets on the plane and I have a bit of a freakout.

He road coach, and as I passed him by, headed to my seat near the back of the plane, I paused and shook his hand.

Bout made my year, I think!

Did you hand him some ingredients and ask him to whip something up on the flight?

Pretty cool. My mom met Bobby Flay earlier this month and got a couple of pictures with him.

Only famous person I have seen on my plane is the British Bulldog.

When I was young I did see The Police right before they broke up at the airport. My dad was like a little kid dragging me to go see them.
