Thread: {HRD} Recruitment & Application Information

Thank you for showing interest in joining {HRD}. Please read this post completely before requesting to join. We pride ourselves on maturity and professionalism, and your failure to read this FIRST shows us you lack one or both of these traits.

As a clan you may be considering joining, there are some things we feel you should know, as well as things we'll need to know about you.

What we expect of you:

• Have a minimum of 50 posts within the TPG forums (any area) and must be of substance. This assures that if we don't know you, we at least have an idea who you are, and can gauge the type of player you MIGHT be.
• You must have at least 50 hours on TPG game servers as evidenced on our GameTracker or HLStats. This assures that at least SOME of us have brushed up against you in game and may have an idea of your IN GAME character.
• You have not been banned on any TPG server within the past 30 days. If you have been banned at anytime on TPG servers please post your ban thread. This will be used during your application and any non-disclosure will result in immediate denial of membership.
• Applicants must not be current members of any clan nor in any part of the process of applying to any clan other than {HRD}. All applicants who fail this criteria will be automatically refused.
• We expect you, first and foremost, to be a rule-abiding member of the TPG community. Before you apply, familiarize yourself with the Rules and Policies of TPG. We hold ALL our members (reservist or not) to the same standard that TPG expects of its Reserve Slot holders. Also familiarize yourself with the {HRD} Code of Conduct.
• We expect you to be a mature, teamplaying member of TPG. If you are a mature teamplayer, following the rules of TPG and the CoC of {HRD} will come naturally to you.

What we do NOT expect of you:

• You are not required to be a TPG reservist.
• We do not expect you to have a minimum K/D ratio.
• You will not be expected to put {HRD}, nor TPG, before your work, school, significant other, spouse, or children. You are not required to play games for a minimum amount of time each week. We all have lives and are productive members of society; we understand.
• We do not expect you to be a mindless follower; we welcome any mature, free-thinking individual, and feel you are entitled to your own opinions.

Things we hope to see, but are not required:

• For those that are still waiting to get their 50 posts and 50 server hours; we encourage you to squad up with {HRD} members as much as possible. This is not a requirement, however, it increases your chances of getting approved for the {frm} trial period. DO NOT be afraid to start a thread expressing your intentions to tender an application once you've reached 50 posts and 50 hours (and it'll give you one more post towards your 50!). A simple statement such as "Hello {HRD}, I've read that I need 50 server hours and 50 posts before trying to join your clan, but in the meantime, I'm here to let you know my intent to tender an application once those requirements are met." This will bring you to our attention and allow us to keep an eye out for YOU on the server as well.
• We would love to see you get a reserve slot on, at least, ones of the TPG servers. A) It supports TPG, and keeps them able to provide the great place we have here. B) It helps you not have to wait in line to get on a full server. This, however, is not required.

Now that you know what we are looking for from you, and in turn know something about us, ask your self this:
Do you still feel that you fit {HRD}, and as importantly, does {HRD} fit you? If not, well, there are many other excellent resident clans here at TPG, and we thank you for your consideration.

If so, this is your next step:
If you meet ALL of the requirements, start a new post labeled "{HRD} Member Request for ________". Please format your post following the template below. All information is necessary, and any omissions will delay your application process. Should you have any questions about how to obtain any of these please PM one of the leaders BEFORE you post.

Your Game Name:
Link to your Player stats from the following locations (where applies): BF2, 2142, BC2, , gameME (search your Steam ID)
Link to your GameTracker stats for any/all TPG servers:
Are you a TPG reservist (only applicable to games that have reserve slots: CS:S, TF2, DoD:S, BF2, BF2142, BC2)?
Do you promise that you have read and will abide by the {HRD} Code of Conduct posted?

Once you have posted your membership request, you will be looking for vouches from current {HRD} members. This means you will want to approach members on the battlefield before applying to make sure that you can get these vouches. Squad up and make yourself known to {HRD} members and let them know that you intent to apply. Show them what you are made of because these are the people that will be vouching for you in your application thread.

This is the process once you application is posted:

• Applicants have 14 days to get 3 vouches (vouch number will change with roster size) to earn {frm} status. If required vouches are not received the application is closed. Applicant can reapply after 30 days.
• After 14 days of {frm} the {HRD} vote is started that will last a maximum of 7 days with the option of extending the {frm} period 7 more days.
• If the {frm} period is extended, a second {HRD} vote is started after 7 days without the option of another extension.
• If the second vote does not get an {HRD} vote then the applicant is turned down.
• All votes need 2/3 majority of received votes to pass.
