Lessons Learned from this Unfortunate Thread:

1. No matter the situation, I will not teamswitch when playing TF2.
2. Prior to discriminating an entire clan, allow the single accused member to at least respond to the problem in the initial post
3. This thread is not going in a positive direction fast.

From the initial post, this is a thread about me and me alone. Please lets keep it that way.

If teamswitching to play with any particular player is wrong no matter the situation, then I was wrong. I am man enough to admit if I'm wrong. Lets stop belittling each other all of whom are all already teamplayers. We are getting no where fast with this thread. Go get in a game and worry about the true non-teamplayers...convert them and bring them to the forums. Lets make outrselves strong form this

Lets move on unless White, the originator, has anything else to add.

Agreed, lets move on. You made a mistake and did something that wasn't very teamplayer. It didn't seem to you at the time to be the wrong thing to do. However, now you know. Playing with just your friends isn't always the right thing to do, sometimes you have to try to pull up a team of strangers and show them the light of teamplay and communication.

White, in my opinion was within his rights to post asking for clarification from you in public. His second post was unfortunate.

Move on, grow and learn from this. All of you.

[IRON] holds ttp standards to heart, otherwise we wouldnt be here. u lost respect for us? for what backing each other up like a band of brothers is supposed to? if anything i lost respect of DJ for coming in here and acting a fool when all it would of took was a simple hey......

sorry that elk didnt respond fast enough, it happens we have a life outside of gaming. elk is an outstanding teamplayer and person. ask all the others.....

DJWhite, what a poor way to handle the situation... Why didn't you just mention to him to check the scores before he switches teams next time in a PM or something? This had absolutely nothing to do with the IRON clan, but your issue was with one player.

You have no idea why he switched teams, he could have wanted to chat with someone in particular or may have joined to play with someone in particular or whatever reason, but again, you could have mentioned to him that "your" team needed some help in a civil conversation....

Did you ever ask him in the game server if he could help yall out ? ? ? ? I bet $500 you didn't, because if you had, he would have switched to help anyone that needed help.

Next time work on your approach..... This could have been addressed in a much more proffesional attitude and I don't see a need to call out everyone in the whole clan out for something that you felt was wronged by a particular player.

I think this would have fallen into more of the line of a misunderstanding more than anything else, especially if you had of ask him to help your team out, I am sure it would have all ended there, but you didn't and instead, you decided to call out a whole clan for an issue that you could have easily resolved, right then and right there.

Now instead of brow beating our patriots, let's go out in the battlefield and crush the enemy and focus on setting the best example of a TeamPlayer that we can and bring those players that merrit the opportunity to be a part of us,, and make us their home...
