Well depends on what you mean by regulatory commission. As in the company not having it or the government? Because PRIDE was huge in Japan where MMA was not regulated (as far as i recall anyways)

No I mean in the U.S.

Yea PRIDE was bigger than the UFC for a while...so was K1, Pancrase and some others.

That's the whole point of Dana White looking to make the sport legit, having a state regulatory commision allowing events in various states now...I don't know if the majority of states even....
