BC2 beta tonight

Hey IRON folks! Just wanted to stop by and say I had a great time playing with you all tonight in BC2. A couple buddies and I joined Dallas #1 and lo and behold you guys were on our team! I knew I recognized the tags

The highlight of my night was definitely our epic defense under very heavy fire at the choke point behind the first construction building, that was awesome! Do you guys just join random servers or usually Dallas #1? Hope to see you in game more

i wasn't there the other night, but am not surprised that you had some fun with the fellas.

yea we usually stick to the ttp server because we are a resident clan and obvioulsy like the rules here. but occassionally a raid will be put together somwhere else.

Yea this took place in Bad Company 2 Beta though, and ttp (or anybody for that matter) does not have a dedicated server yet. It was cool because I joined a random server with some friends and ended up being on a team with you guys, had a blast

I was playing under the name Ctuck though, so maybe no one remembers me :P No prob though, I'll see you all in game again in the near future probably 8)

I tried that game last night..my screen froze every 2 sec so it was pretty much unplayable...what kind of HW do you need for this game to run smoothly? BTW..I'm running SLI on my machine...

I have seen quite a few people ask us if we are from TTP. We are normally just running around to different servers to accommodate how many people we have in vent at the time. I think they made a post about TTP playing on Hypernia Dallas servers #1 and #5. I guess these are our "home" for now. Alot of us play on NFO Dallas #5 from time to time. Its always good to see people know who we are and what we stand for.

That stinks Fisster. I don't remember how beefy your machine is but if you've got SLI I'm assuming it's powerful. Check out the following: power supply failing? CPU getting enough cool air? GPU getting enough cool air? updated graphics drivers?

PB, that's awesome that people are recognizing us from other servers and even other games. How do these guys talk to you? Does in-game voip work sometimes? or just ingame chat?

I hope to be on tonight to catch up to the ranks you guys have reached. Maybe I can even get in a squad with TTP folks rather than smurfs! Smurfs are really preventing me from getting huge scores ... :2

I have had 4-5 people ask if I was from TTP and I have no clue as to who they were.

I'll be on for sure. They are finally running new fiber lines to my area of the BFE woods. We are at 100% capacity right now. That's why my ping/connect has gone to shit on the BF2 server.

I heard no more beta keys. you had to buy the game a while back.

Big remy bought me the flamethrower of all vid cards so the game works fine for us on all max settings.

The card after 4hrs was literally too hot to touch. yikes.

I am on ventrilo tonight, will peruse the dallas server.
