Re: NSDQ vs IRON friendly scrim
Hey what's up TNUT?
Thanks for the invite to a scrim with you guys. We'd be glad to accept the invitation...we'll see who can take care of the scheduling and planning for the match and send you an email or msg you through x-fire. Just to have a general idea, what kind of match would you guys like (# of players, city maps only, air maps only, mixed maps) ?

Re: NSDQ vs IRON friendly scrim
Hey TNUT too bad we couldn't get our entire community in on the scrim. Hopefully a clan-vs-clan match is easier to set up.
What we'd prefer:
air / ground
64-player maps (as long as there are at least say 20-25 on each side, otherwise 32-player size)
FF on, vehicles on
no other rules (it's war: anything goes)
We have a BF2 server we can config for a match as a backup to your server.

Re: NSDQ vs IRON friendly scrim
I spoke with tnut about these rules and I think for the most part we have very similar play styles - no bullshit or petty namecalling, let your play do the talking. Some of his numbered points did catch my attention because they were unfamiliar to me, so I asked for some clarification which I will share with you here.
2. NO NADE SPAMMING (throwing nades repeatedly into one area with the intent of racking up your kill stats) such as spamming a spawn point or other location with enemies without intending to capture the flag - not a problem for us, we usually get in, get the flag, get out (or defend)
4. No teabagging teabagging is fine when we're playing against our friends but in a match let's refrain from teabagging, it's a waste of time IMO anyway and other may feel unnecessarily disrespected
5. No offensive foul language/tags/names on their server, they don't allow profanity because they have younger folks playing there. kind of an opposite view to the one we take, but on their server play by their rules - swearing in VOIP amongst ourselves is OK but not in global chat
6. Limit global chat between clans to positive statements, such as "good game" or "nice shot".[color=red]global chat should be used as little as possible except for the above comments - try to refrain from using global chat because match coordinators may need to talk
7. Do not accuse of hacking or cheating. Take screenshots/videos (get proof) and post on forums after the scrimmage. not that we would, but just like we do here - "take it to the forums" - don't bring up baseless allegations in-game.
[IRON] guys we need to field 20 players for this scrim. Post up in the private forums if you are in.
