Alright I went up to her and blasted her away. She died a miserable death.


But i didn't get the crowning achievement.

I don't think the body crowning method works in l4d2 expert games. I've yet to try, so please correct me if I'm wrong, because I do it in the head out of habit. I read somewhere that in l4d2 expert witches must be crowned in the head and from the front, but again, it was just text on the internet so it could easily have been fibs.

You might also hear people say you can't cr0wn with anything but the Auto Shotty. That's false, you can cr0wn with any form of shot gun in game.

Just to extend on this: With the pump shotgun/other tier one shotguns you can get off 2 - 3 shots before she goes ape shit. So if you fail on the first shot keep her lined up and try to get a second shot off. You'd be surprised at how often you can get her with the second/third shot.

Also, if she does manage to incap you start shooting her with your pistol(s) ASAP. If she goes down after a couple of pistol shots you'll know that you *almost* cr0wned her and are on the right track.

I got the cr0wned cheevo in L4D1 with my second shot. I managed to miss her with the first shot, and pissed her.. took the second shot, and BLAM.. no more head. I dont even bother with the witches in 2 unless they insist on fucking with me
