Thread: App for Rumble

Hey all.

I am interested in becoming a member of Killers. I have always respected, and resented when against them, the skill of Killers, and hope I have something to contribute. LadyMischief and I are very good friends. She speaks highly of you guys, and hopefully she will speak as highly of me if asked.

1) Why Killers and not another clan on TTP?
I played with BigTex for a while and they were good guys, but the only real friendship that has persisted throughout my TTP time has been LadyMischief. As a result I respect her opinion of Killers, and since she rejoined Killers I thought I'd give it a try.

2) How long have I been playing CS?
I've been playing CS since the day it came out in Beta 1. I have had short breaks to play other games (America's Army, CoD4) but I play CS more than anything else.

3) What do you do for a living?
I own my own Computer/Network Support/Repair business and a web site design firm. I work from home now and pretty much play CS:S and CoD4 while I work. Yeah I know, no life. I like it that way. I grew up during the birth of video games, (Pong and on) and so getting to play all day is like heaven to me.

4) Will you give us your commitment to be a teamplayer and always abide by the rules of TTP?
I have always played by the rules of TTP. I play as a team player and am quick to take constructive criticism. I won't promise I won't make any mistakes, but I do my best not to.

5) What else do you bring to the table?
Hmm. I am 39, have been away for a little while because in January my daughter and I were both diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes within a week of each other. Anyone who knew me from prior to that will attest to my fanatical devotion to playing. I am on constantly, have a really good way of meshing with other personalities, and don't let the game get me too upset.
I joined the Army out of High School, then went to college. I left college for 5 years to work for Marvel Entertainment, Chaos! Comics and Todd McFarlane Productions so I have a deep background in both game development (Marvel) and the comic book industry (Chaos! and McFarlane), which is always good for conversation. I returned to college in Texas (originally from Massachusetts) and met my wife, where I ended up settling. Have 2 kids and wow this has turned more into a bio than what I bring to the table. Ok I bring ass kicking and butt stomping... how's that?

Rumble thank you for your patience. You are correct that Lady had good things to say about you, but your absence has given us little else to go off of so we are neither accepting or declining your application. If you were too sum up the average response from the discussion we held about your application would be "I vaguely remember him". That is too easy to fix. Send me an invite for your friend list, send an invite to Yung. When we scrim and your on you will get invited to come. Give it some time and reapply in a month or two, at that time we would be better able to give you a definite answer.
