Thread: Vulcan30 Application

Hello Killers, I'd like to apply to for your clan for a TF2 spot on the team.

About Me

Well, my name is Mike and I'm currently a 22 year old college student (soon to be student anyways). Besides TF2, I currently play in a couple of slowpitch softball leagues. Actually, I enjoys just about anything that can be done outside. Right now, I currently work at a place called A1 Rental and we deliver and set up big ass parties (ex: weddings, festivals, fairs, etc...) Also, I like to give people shit as long as they can give some back.

TTP history

I don't remember exactly how I came to TTP. I think I just randomly joined a CS server and enjoyed playing here. Joined the wmc and enjoyed playing there. I left because of my lack of playtime in CS (cause I bought TF2). A couple of months later, I started the EvO TF2 division and had a blast with those guys. Things didn't work out and we all decided to go different routes. I still talk with most those guys everyday.

If you want references you may ask your newest member Master_Magus (congrats), Dominator, or Shoi because I have all been in a clan with those guys.

Why Killers?

No doubt Killers is one of the most respected resident clans on TTP. You guys have the competitor's edge with the friendly environment. I've had the pleasure of playing with most of you (if not all) and you all have brought a certain aspect to TTP. It's been fun to game with sk33 over the last couple of months and it's been a pleasure to get to know Chizzle a bit more. All of you guys are skilled in what games or classes you play. Having a chance to play with and against you guys will only make me a better player.

What can I bring to the table?

Competitively, Soldier is my best class as I know all the necessary rocket jumps to rush points and am pretty accurate with rocket launcher and shotgun and shovel . I'm very familiar with the strategies for being a pocket and roamer. I prefer roamer, but it doesn't make any difference to me. I'm always trying to get better with this class.

I am a fairly good Medic as well. I've been touching up my skills quite a bit in pubs and puggerz. It can be pretty entertaining when you are the "quarterback" on the battlefield. I know/understand the healing strategies for mids rushes and I've gotten pretty good with the needle gun.

My other 2 classes would be Scout and Spy. My scout work needs the biggest improvement due to my lack of playtime for the class. The best option to swap a class for an uncoventional classes is scouts. I'm working on getting my scout game up so that if I play scout in a scrim I will also have the option to switch to spy.
