Thread: The Wall of Trolololololcats

Figured I would cross post this for those not in alliance with me.

The night started fairly uneventfully. I logged in to find a few corp mates chasing a cloaky Sabre and Legion. They logged off, so I asked Napoleon if he wanted to see what was in the WH he found earlier, and he was happy to oblige. We make our way to Q-4 in a few cloaky scanners because there are 16 signatures, and one offline POS that we already know of. Napoleon jumps in and sees a Manticore on D-scan. After Napoleon warps the Manticore cloaks, but continues scanning, and eventually jumps out into D-4 where Napoleon's other pilot is waiting in a Legion. He quickly returns to the hole in half armor.

We continue scanning with Ghen on the exit in a Nemesis, and eventually I find the connecting WH where they live. About this time they jump in a Falcon, Onyx, Drake, Legion, and Oracle, so Tetrakill starts throwing together a fleet to rumble with them. Shortly after we are met with the following offer in local.

Is anyone in EVE really that dumb? Surely not, so we just keep scanning away. I get to 200km off of their WH exit, and wait. I see 2 guys jump out, then jump back in after they reshipped to Raven and Armageddon. We now realize their plan is to collapse the hole, so all 3 cloakies bug out of the WH back to Q-4. We have consolidated fleets and are about 25 or so strong, and are making our plan. Most of the fleet is in J9 waiting to see what they do, and we have a couple of cloaked eyes off of the hole for intel. Lo and behold they jump both battleships out, and the hole collapses behind them. Oh crap, people in EVE are this dumb.

We try to probe them, but they have cloaks on their ships, so we wait. Napoleon is still cloaked in Q-4, and he starts telling us the guy is saying his other account is in Convicted. He links some pilot's name, and gives us some sob story about how he messed up, oh and informs us they they both just bought expensive implants. Once again, people in EVE are this dumb? We decide to try to set the trap, and I step up to be the bait master, which leads to the following.

Really, they joined our fleet. Surely they know now we aren't really going to escort them to Venal, right? They are just going to log, then wait for some god awful hour when only kiwis are awake, or so we think. Our last pilot in Q-4 says they are both on the J9 gate, and JUMPING, WTF? They jump to us, and we have a bubble up waiting for them. We get both ships, and one pod. The other pod jumps back to Q-4, ounces until his timers wear off, and logs.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Anoxim talked to a guy he knows that has been in Convicted forever, and he has no clue who this corp is, or the pilot either. He also says they always shoot neuts, and we should too.
