    Question

I know that this game has been out for a while and I was interested in it when it first dropped - but never tried it out. With that said, now that I am seeing more and more of the TTP Brethren picking this up I am curious.

Is this pay to play? If so, what is the monthly fee?
Is the update content purchased? Patches? Expansions?
What system spec will run it maxed?
Is this a grind like so many other MMO?

Is the update content purchased? Patches? Expansions? Updates come every so often, latest was mid march, and before that I think it was only a few months before November maybe (I wasn't playing at the time) they are free expansions, this last one introduced a bunch including T3 stuff.
What system spec will run it maxed? Not sure but it isn't that high, it doesn't require dedicated graphics, I play windowed mode with 3 windows on my laptop and they are all decent looking
Is this a grind like so many other MMO?You gain skill points as time goes on, you can log out and still be gaining these skill points. Grinding is for (in what I've seen) for cash or rep with different factions/corporations.
The thing that has drawn me to this game versus any other game is the openness. I could take my character down into space and hijack folks take their money and leave em. Or I could become an industrial worker and produce and sell items. I could even become something like a stock broker, buy goods off the market and sell them else where for profit. There are so many options in this game it is insane.

If you look in our vote Draco gave a good rundown of the game in regards to server population (1 universe so there are 30k+ people on at a time multiple servers up to handle the load...I dono let him explain it)

The best part is that you can use any equipment in game and fight for any of the factions or none of them. Your race doesn't limit you to what you can do. Lincoln would've liked this game.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Yeah, I'm a Caldari and it seems most of my missions are to kill Caldari intruders. :5

    Re: Question

Well, you are being employed by Caldari nationals. Missions will always be against a faction's enemies or sometimes annoying employees who are costing the company money. PVP is where you can fight anyone.
