    So.

    .. Deciding to be a smartass in my cheap PvP Frigate, I decided to go and roam Sleeper sites to look at them and see if they might kill me. I do 2, and on one of them, they lock onto me at 156km out and actually almost hit me, in frigates, which I found impressive.
    So I go to the next one, and there are about 7 frigates. I get ready to warp out, but one of them, at 150 km out insta locks on me and hits me for 500 dmg, insta killing my frigate. So, I got popped from 150km out in one shot by a Frigate.
    Felt the need to point this out.

    In case I did not properly convey the threat of sleepers, I'll do it now.

    They're pretty damn dangerous. If you're not a relatively skilled pilot don't risk it.

    Well, I didn't actually try to FIGHT them...
    I just wanted to see if they would lock me at warping distance. Turns out the Frigates can, and they can also shoot you.

    Yeah, I do a lot of short range warping to get those guys, always be on the move, never sit still when sleepers are around.

    You could also just use a pod for Sleepers since they don't target them.
