Re: My latest adventure
Its really a toss up. The public hearings were closed and a vote has to take place thursday. I main alternative was to not develop the north. The commision didn't understand why they needed to either. They claim they just wanted to have the property look "marketable" that is the entire point behind their operation. Over haul the property then toss it off to another developer.
They wanted to know why I didn't hire a scientist to review the meeting. More like why didn't I hire people to go tromping around on private property. When what's really important is the get their report reviewed. Which can't happen because it was only submitted a few days ago. Agencies like the Eastern Connecitcut Conservation District which reviews these kinds of plans and reports, who the commission has used before can only be highered by the commission. We have been in contact with them for months and they can't see how the it can be approved.
The members of the commision appeared to be a complete mix of yes and no, not sure and confused.
Just gotta wait another week.Dispatch the DooM

Re: My latest adventure
Well there was suppose to be a vote tonight, but the public hearings were closed last week and the board has 65 to vote.
But, tonight, the commity had every single board member meet tonight, which is unheard of. A motion was made at the opening of the meeting to delay the vote so all the members have time to review all the info.
The wetlands enforcement agent believe they would vote to approve it tonight, but felt they should only approve the south and not the north. So I've convinced him atleast. That and more time to review all the info plays in my favor. We only need a motion to have it review by the ECCD, whom I've had look over everything and feel it's nuts. But only the town can call them in.
So, another delay..... until Oct 18th.Dispatch the DooM
