Attention people who enjoy/ed the Battlefield series!
Planetside 2 is the true path to salvation.
If you enjoy open world, sand box battles with troops, tanks, jets, flags, and bases, Planetside 2 will lead you to the path of righteousness.
If you want to 2,000 player battles, Planetside 2 will save you.
If you want unlocks and rewards for your Xp, but don't want to feel totally out of your league without them, Planetside 2 will cleanse you.
If you wanted BF to have sex with WoW and produce a child that loved to looks like Starcraft, dune, 2142, Tribes, and starship troopers, Planetside 2 did not abort.
If you want teamwork or lonewolf tactics, Planetside 2 embraces all with love.
You may have to wait a short time for it's final release, but good thing come to those who wait. Planetside 2 will wait for you.
If you enjoy FPS, teamwork, or anything about the BF series, you really should look into this game.
It's in beta testing now, but will be out soon. And from what Option hunter understands, 100% free. You can turn cash into credits for fast unlocks or skins. But you also get credits with the Xp you earn. Not levels, xp. In two nights I earned around 120 credits and unlocked a lock-on rocket launcher.
Love it, love it, love it. Every game takes some time to get use to, but there is no problem with jump in and play then go and figure it out later.
Flip EA the bird and try Planetside 2.Dispatch the DooM

The best part about this game is that its totally and completely free to play on release. You can try it for free, and if you don't like it, no big deal. But if you do love it, you can also become a member, which gives you a few modest bonuses, but doesn't enter into the realm of "P2W". I'm going to be a member from day 1 simply to support the game.
Soviet sumed it up nicely. This game is like 2142 meets WoW. It will have three continents to choose from on release, each with their own different visual and play styles. More on this game when I get home.

I must say I haven't found a game that I've enjoyed this much since BF2. When I'm playing time flies by it's becoming quite addicting.
