Thread: Might be out for a bit.

Some of you may know that in the past week I've been in the hospital with my mother, she had issues breathing and after tests and surgery they have said she has major lung cancer. So much that they can not cut it out. So radiation is the next step, her lung has collapsed so that is their main short term issue. She is very optimistic and up beat about all of this but that doesn't change the results of surgery and tests from what I have seen. I don't know how many times I've seen people say things can change in the blink of an eye but now I know how true it is. I have heavy regret since me and her have barely spoken in the last 4 years. She had a battle with drug addictions and I couldn't take it any more.

I have been with TPG since 12/06, a lot of things have changed since then, I joined as a newly wed with no kids now I am a father of three, but I've had friends on here since day 1 and that is a great thing. So if my attendance in gaming is off, I'm probably at the hospital. I'm usually available on steam so don't be afraid to hit me up. I'm usually bored anyway.

Be strong for your family, they will need you. Know that you are in all of our thoughts and prayers, and we will be here when you need to blow off some steam.

Bury that hatchet and take it one day at a time. Its a tough road going through this with a parent, but i couldn't imagine it with a negative history hanging in the room. Best of luck demon, i do hope all goes well for you and your mom.
