Re: Unemployment Party
Sounds like when I worked at Staples. Man did the bitchy manager love to give me shit about my numbers. I had the lowest numbers of all the techs because I was usually the second tech and I would go and stock shelves because I worked late and no one else wanted to! I got ripped a new one when I sold a friends mom a computer for the local schools foundation, I knew what they needed, didnt upsell, got her what she needed quickly and promptly and holy shit my manager was not happy! Good times (not really)... So glad I dont work retail anymore!

I'm 61 and have never had what I would call an easy job but my home and auto's are paid off so at this point it's very difficult for me to listen or put up with much bullshit. If necessary I go to subsistence living for year and then ssi but I'll be damned if I let another corporate prick browbeat me to conform to their demands, don't get me wrong I like the work I do (technician not a salesman/shipping receiving clerk/auditor or the half dozen other hats they want us to wear) and am quite good at it but not for this chickenshit company.
