Thread: ArmA 3 Tactical Battlefield mod.... could this be the one?

Greetings Birds of Fire. Lots of buzz goin on about this Mod for ArmA 3, looks very much like PR. Could this be the one that gets a few of us on the field together? I plan on downloading the goodies today, and there is an event signup in the ArmA 3 forum. Check it out.

Hey Scott, how is it? I haven't had a chance, I got bf4 and have been stuck on it.

Looks pretty cool. Reminds me of ARMA2 ACE and ACRE mod. I'll try to get it downloaded.

Also, I see PR 1.3 just came out today. Apparently it is a standalone now. I'm downloading that as well.

I think i would rather play that. I gave TAC BF a try. Not really warmed up to it. But in all fairness, my taste in games has changed. Im really a fan of the sandbox stuff.

I know what you mean. I find that I have a hard time really getting into new games, (which is probably because my computer can't really run anything good) so I usually just end up going back to PR. I played a round or so today and it was awesome. Apparently someone posted about 1.3 being a standalone on reddit because the there is over 1000 people playing on a dozen or so servers now. Last 1.2 was like maybe 200 people on 2 servers.

I'll probably hop on for some more PR tonight.

I was hearing PR is standalone as well, that's a big plus for the game!!
