It would now appear that the CB is only open to Premium members?

Not according to the ACP. According to the settings, the only usergroups that can't currently access it are unregistered, banned or awaiting email confirmation.

Anyone else having this issue?

Just a friendly reminder to all here:

The chatbox is a privilege. It is not a right. Members who abuse that privilege will find that they are relieved of it. That includes excessive arguing, spamming and other assorted douchebaggery.
We all have disagreements from time to time, but that doesn't mean that others want to read your arguments with someone else they don't care about. If you really feel so passionate about something that you MUST argue it out to a conclusion, then do it in private. I don't care whether it's on MSN, Steam, XBL Voice chat, Telephone, Carrier pigeon or Smoke signal, just don't do it where others have to read it.

The Forum Rules still apply just as much in the chatbox as they do in the rest of the forums. We've had to ban two people from it this week, which is a shame, but when the vast majority have used it in the right spirit and kept things going with lively and entertaining banter, it's a shame for that to be ruined by a select few.

Anyway, play nice and all that. Any problems, let me or the staff know.

Ah, unfortunately you can't claim all the spotlight with this one. Whilst you'd be right in saying that it was the straw that broke the camel's back, the truth is that since the cbox opened, the staff have had to have a quiet word with quite a few members on an individual basis regards their actions in the chatbox, so I decided that it was time to put out a general reminder to folks regards their responsibilities as members of the forum, and hopefully save a bit of wear and tear on the staff's fingers. The L4DF health plan doesn't provide a whole lot of cover in that department.
