Great piloting tonight Scott. I sure hope you enjoyed the rounds and teamwork. Always nice squading up with you bro.

No I didn't forget you Drax, I just went dumb on which clan you were in. I sure hope you enjoyed the squad and teamwork this evening.

Hey 11, thanks for working with me last night. I totally enjoyed being in your squad and we did have some good teamwork going.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be playing PR any more, a few things that bugged me back with the earlier versions are still bugging me now. If it were all jungle maps I'd stick to it, but once the maps with all the different vehicles come into play thats when I lose interest.

    Thanks again though.

Didn't have a clue i could fly huh? I never get the chance on vanilla, so i jumped at it in last nights round. Something i noticed last night about your tactics.... there was alot of bitching about Hueys getting torched because of AA at the Beach and over by airfield, which lead to the mass on the carrier at one point. Because of the game plan you laid out, even though it was arduous, i flew no less than 3 trips to our LZ before passing the chopper to a team mate for insertion of other squads. I took a little fire, but not enough to bring me down. When i did release the chopper and requested a ride from the new pilot, i specifically told him what way to go to get me where i needed to be, and guess where he went? Beach. And guess what happened within 5' of the ground as he attempted to drop me off? BOOM.

PR is a game about the BIG PICTURE, and being aware of not only what you are doing, but what your
mate is doing, what your squad is doing and what all the other squads are doing.

It ended up being a very late night with a really long round on Kashan. Finished it with 2091 points. I played every kit i could, drove Tanks and APC in an armor squad, ground pounded the Bunkers, what ever was needed and it was a great round.

One of the major reasons I pound it out on the ground. I can't stand how assets are wasted and people don't know how to move as a unit when they don't have transportation. It's unfortunate you feel that way bro. I was glad to have you there covering my back and reviving the hell out of the squad to keep us alive there at swamp. You did excellent work for the squad. You played with class and style man. Thanks for what you did for the squad and team.

I'll give some single player a try ... maybe see things I might be missing in my first night out.

It just really irked me that last night while playing the Kashan desert map as a Mec I couldn't select an Anti Tank kit, then after shooting someone out of a jeep, I couldn't hop in it and drive off. (I guess I hit the keys while shooting at the soldier and they flew out of the ignition and landed somewhere out in the sand.) I can see where the game out shines regular BF2, however in their attempts to make it a better/more realistic game, they dumbed down the in game people to the point of you can drive a Chevy with no problems, but if you hop in a Honda... yer screwed, you can't drive that.

Like I said I'll give single player a little bit of a go and try to figure things out more. I'd really hate to just delete 3+ hours of a download after 2 good rounds and 1 bad round last night.

Maybe I should get on some more... I was on a couple nights ago with Cman, Mouf, and Scott. It was pretty fun!

I love PR for the most part but for the most part there are just little things that just annoy the fuck out of me. like Scott said dumbshits hopping into vehicles and getting them destroyed in 30 seconds. It pisses me off how sometimes you can shoot a guy 3 or 4 times and hit all around him (supposedly supressing him) and then he just turns around and shoots one shot and kills you.

Project Reality. It's a mod for Battlefield 2 that makes new maps(roughly 50 times BIGGER than BF2 maps...and adds "Reality" to the game. It's free, and TTP hosts it.Download it and check it out some time....you will see a lot of familier names from the BF2 Vanilla server there.

Check out the PR Forums here: http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?board=76.0

And get the free download here: http://www.texasteamplayers.com/index.php?topic=27695.0

Just be sure to install the Core first, and the levels second.

Give it a shot.....read the manual, and hook up with some familiar peeps on the TTP server.
