Miss you guys.
OMG what a pain in the ass to get my DSL account straightened out and back online. I wont share the detail as its a long and rather ridiculous story, but i should have my internet access back at full speed on Monday.... maybe Tuesday.... who know, Ive been going around in circles with these people (at Verizon) for weeks. One tells me i have connection, the next says i don't and need to set up a new account, so i try that and the nice robot on the other end of the line says i have an account and should be able to connect in 24 hours. That ends up being bullshit so i....... oh nevermind. Sorry, about that, its just been very frustrating.
This has been the longest stretch in 3 years that i have been away from TTP, and let me tell you it has not been an easy thing. On the lighter side, i have had a chance to get some things squared away that i have been neglecting and spend some quality time with the family. I have been on vacation this week and thus NO internet at all. Id stay and chat longer but I'm on a dial up connection right now that sucks bigtime, but when i do get back i will most certainly chime in on some of the shit that apparently hit the fan shortly after i lost my DSL.
Looking forward to getting back,
Scott

Re: Miss you guys.
OK ok, I'm back. I wanted to make sure there were no surprises in store for me regarding my connection. It seems to be working well. I played a couple of nights on PR so far and have been catching up on the forum traffic for a few days. I'm getting back into the swing of things. I should be on later tonight, and will be playing on the PR server around 6 eastern as Politano. I'm going over to his house to get him up to speed on PR. Hes the guy that introduced me to BF2 and PR, but he hasn't played any of the BF2 franchise in about 3 years. Anyway, as his life has changed in such a way that he can spend some time gaming again, i am encouraging him to become a member of the community, i think he will fit in well here at TTP.
