Thread: Back to Tortage, Age of Conan

Might have to just relearn my PoM and go kick some ass.

Teamed up with a guy from Mercenaries tonight. Ganked a few, got ganked, and got up to level 45 (half way to lv 46). All in all, good times.

I've also gotten a polearm guardian up to lv 41 so I can craft more things. At the moment, I can craft lv 40 armors, weapons, gems, and potions.

Leveling up to 50 is going to be a bit boring though. There are only 2 areas that I know of that are meant for 40-50. Oh well.

Shit, i have been either working or putting time in on the PR server since the new patch and map. I have only played about an hour of AoC and that was with my PvE character on Set. Maybe tomorrow we can get together, i need to catch up as i am only level 34 (i think).

Couldn't sleep last night so I decided to see what the fuss over Necros was about...boy are they fun. They out DPS my polearm guardian.

And today, I took a break from work while I waited for my shaking to stop (due to my meds). I ended up killing two people. After dying to a mob one time, I ran into another guy 7 levels higher than me camping the res point. First time he comes after me, I run. I make it to the safety of a city guard. The second time, I'm fighting a mob of NPCs who take me down to 800 health (50%). Then, the lvl 37 comes after me. So, I figure, fuck I may as well go out balls to the wall. As it turns out, my new undead minions, all 8 eight of them, put out enough DPS to make the guy run. Unfortunately for him, he used up all of his stamina trying to run away. I kept pace with him while my guys whittled away his health. And then, he died. That was pretty exciting. What was not exciting was dying 5 minutes later while running from more NPCs after falling all of 3 feet...

LOL, sounds like fun for the most part. The wife said she would level up this week to at least catch up to me, then we will put some more time in. In the mean time im playing World of Tanks.... pretty badass game. But let me know if you want to group anyway, i've got no problem doing that instead.

I'll probably wait till you're about 40. There are some dungeons in the Noble District we could hit up.

Think im at 35 right now.

You could always use offline leveling if you're in a rush. I've used it to get the last push towards 40 since you start running out of content towards 38-40.

Just did my first minigame. I ended getting kills on enemy necros 8 levels above me, and I only died once. We had a pretty good team that worked together. We had a bear shaman who was handing out some nice heals. We won by default after the enemy team all left once we pulled ahead 18-5, destroyed their totem, and camped their spawn. Reminded me of some of the 2142 fights when Bigdog would command.

Things I learned. Speed is the essence of war. You've got to be able to do good burst damage, do DoTs, or run and gun. Slow stuff where you stand still either misses or gets you killed.
