BC2 Last hoorah!

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus of the community too. I don't know, maybe i could start playing it again, but i am kinda hooked on BF3.

Well, it's still new to me I'm only rank 18 so I want to get my moneys worth out of it. Tonight is a good example that if 4 or 5 regulars took 15 to 30 minutes to prime we could get the server going every night. I'm going to prime tomorrow just to see, I think it's worth a shot. If it doesn't work then I'll have to play else where but I'd rather not.

Well, essentially you are right. It takes dedicated primers for any game thats not hot off the shelves with a waiting list to play. Our problem is, 90% of our dedicated primers went to BF3 when it came out. Myself included. IMO, it does take more than 4 or 5 guys to prime a server like that, believe me ive tried. Sometimes you hit gold right away and the server snowballs into a full or nearly full population, but most of the time its hours of getting up to 6 or 8 players then the most recent connects drop because they have no loyalty to the server and will hop on another more populated server on a whim. After a while a couple more join, rinse and repeat. It gets discouraging after a while. Last night was a good example how a boat load of regs can prime, but i dont think we ever hit full population.. i could be wrong. Over the 6+ hour stretch, we had about 85 connects and the server population topped out at about 25-26. Even so, thats not a bad population if its on a nightly basis, but it took about 15 regs a couple of hours to get there.

Im not trying to be a buzzkill, just sharing my thoughts on the matter. I'll probably hop in tonight too to see if we can get it started again, after all last night was a blast.
