Thread: Clan Wars

We won land last night. We took over a province from S.I.M.P. for those that don't know, S.I.M.P. is one of the top clans out there. I chose to take them on for one of their parcels of land for a few reasons. One of those reasons were because they had so much land that there is no way they could put enough teams on the field to defend it all. Another reason is because they had a train on their land further south and would be trying to keep the victory points coming in from that train so their focus would not be on all their territories. My gamble paid off as we took land via technical victory. We have several options now. Attack other bits of land, defend what we have, or leave the map. I don't know about all of you, but we have worked long and hard to get land and I am not one for giving it up. And it may be playing with fire, but I think we might can go after more of S.I.M.P's territory. This will get their attention and maybe that of some big clans in game and big players too. So maybe we can use this to recruit. Now we may lose it all tonight, but it is worth the fight so let's do it. Need everyone present so we can maximize our chances. Please join us tonight on the field of battle.

Numbers for clan wars has come down recently. Holidays may play a part in that. If you are still around let us know.

Hey all!

Last night we had the best numbers for Clan Wars that we've had in probably 6 months! It was good to see people come out to have fun in the CW matches... and platoons afterward as well. While we weren't as competitive as I'm sure we'd all like to be, once we've played together a bit and gotten used to our team tactics on the maps Mud is choosing to play, results should come around.

We still need everyone grinding their way up to tier 10s (even those with 10s already... due to tank locking if we end up with some land). We also want to encourage everyone to platoon up at other times as well. Get to know how each other plays and how to cover each other. This can be done even at lower tiers (for those who aren't up to the top tiers just yet). Also, with the credits for platoon wins in the Missions right now, it's worth it to get at least the 5 wins to boost your credits some.

Just wanted to say thanks to those who turned out... and for those that didn't know, we are doing Clan Wars EVERY Saturday night... landing seedings are 8 and 9 CST... so battles are roughly 30 minutes after that (depending on the number of Clans trying to land) with a minimum of TWO CW battles every Saturday night. We did have a full team of 15 with one tank in the wings, but we were not packed with tier 10s, so any who missed it are still welcome to come out next week to help boost the tiers some.

On that last note, I won't be there next week. :/ Going out of town for a long weekend... and the laptop is just miserable trying to play. (2-5 fps usually)
