I have till sometime tonight to try and get this thing back together. Its not looking promising. First it took and hour and a half to get the damn thing up on stands thanks to the seals on my small jack giving out. Of which i have to use to get the big jack under the car. Lowering a car is not always a good thing. Then not one fucking screw would come loose for the friction plate on my flywheel. So i had to drill out all 24 of them. Now the fucking pilot bearing wont come out. 2 hours i've been trying to get this damn thing out and i have the tool for it. Well had the tool for it until about 10 minutes ago. Every damn time i say im gonna start leaving those fucking bearing in because its the same damn problem every fucking time.

4 hours and not the first part going in yet.

Well took it on its first run today. Put about 10 miles on it and i couldn't resist putting the peddle down. I know i'm suppose to wait for 500 miles but i just had to do it once. Waited until first was completely seated and put it down. I had forgot how she loved to go sideways. I wish i had a camera. As soon as she hit 500 which could take a minute seeing as i drive my work truck most of the time i'm gonna take her back to the track to see how she does. I'll make sure the wife has a camera. I fully expect higher times seeing as im not running out to get drag radials and most likely wont put a fresh tune up on by then but we'll see.

The downside i found today was i think a rat made a nest in my hvac system. It stinks and my blend door isn't working. So i have a pretty good idea whats going on with that. Thats why you never let a car sit.

Well i found the time to tear the passenger side apart today. I did find a rat nest. It looked to be empty for a while but at least it was outside of the hvac box. However that didn't stop him from taking all the pretty colored vacuum lines for my climate control system to put in his nest. That little mother fucker couldn't just take one side of the connection he took both. One side i can get from chevy for 40 bucks but the other is discontinued. So now im stuck with salvage yard parts or making my own if i can find those types of lines and connector.

As an added bonus once i removed the panels it was like getting hit in the face with a hammer. I know why he left. His ass stinks. I now get a chance to see what trying to scrub all the little parts inside the car is like with bleach and a tooth brush. I didnt even get the satisfaction of breaking the little bastards neck in return for fucking my car up.

I ran one out from under the hood of my blazer. He was between the blower and the battery on the passenger side. I found a chewed wire... which apparently didnt affect anything I needed because I never had issues, just tore it apart one day and found the other end an reconnected them.

I had a nest with dead babies in it in one of my project cars, I got everything out then sprayed it all down with windex then rinsed it, let it air dry. then it was all good no smell. I never go too far with out my windex and duct tape.

Man i wish it was that easy. So far i've hit it with windex, ozium (however it spelled), fabreeze, and some other shit i had sitting in a spray bottle that smelled like it had ammonia in it. I can already see me pulling the whole damn dash apart just to get rid of the odor.
