    Disc copies will go the way of the dodo sooner rather than later. It's simply more cost effective for the publishers and distributors.

    DG, Steam has a feature that let's you backup games to disc. You do have to have it downloaded and installed at the time you use the feature, though. You can still have your hardcopy this way and can always have an up-to-date one if you feel like it.

    interesting to know case i ever reformat ....although my biggest games are on origin lol

    We used it at the previous year's QC to move games from one computer to another because it was so much quicker than downloading from Steam for multi-GB games.
