Re: I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a bad day.
High grade musculotendinous junction tear of the infraspinatus tendon with full thickness tear at insertion and retraction. Retraction extends approximately 4 cm.
In laymen terms im fucked. Surgery where they are going to have to pull the muscle and tendon back from where ever it ended up and reattach it. 2 weeks in a sling, 3 months no lifting anything over 1 pound, and 3 months of rehab. To make my day oh so much better my buddy patch just got a death sentence at the vet. The lump in his neck is not removable and it will eventually kill him. Seeing as it sprung up to its current size in under a week im gonna go out on a limb and say that wont take long. Damn it i would gladly give my arm for my buddy. What a year.

Re: I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a bad day.
I fell down some steps that i was installing and caught myself with that arm causing the bulk of the damage.
The vets diagnosis is a mass on his neck that most likely has the veins tied into it. Surgery would be complex on any dog without taking into account hes 15. Even then they dont know if it can actually be removed. Surgery would be exploratory. I assumed it was a fatty deposit like the rest of them i've had looked at. Then on memorial day he started pissing blood so i took him to an emergency vet. She started squeezing it to see what it was or if it was connected somehow to his other condition. Now it went from the size of a quarter to the size of a tennis ball. I guess it was better off being left alone.
Seriously? I have a day like this and then get a phone call my home loan has been approved with a closing of 6-23. First time this year i get good news and i cant even fucking enjoy it.Last edited by deathgodusmc; 06-02-14 at 12:54 PM.

Re: I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a bad day.
Congrats on the house.
Sorry about the wing. Luckily, you are tough as nails, and can drink Pepsi with either arm.
But the dog......I really am sorry. I just had a big tumor removed from my Roxy. It was cancerous (something something sarcoma), and it was on her driver's side rear leg. It balooned-up to the size of a racketball in about two weeks, but luckily it hadn't attached itself to anything, and was removable. She's 12, so I wasn't going to have any heroic measures (chemo)or amputations. However, in the time it took to figure out what it was and if it had spread, I was pretty sure she was doomed. Such a horrible feeling. There are very few people in this World I wouldn't push in front of a speeding bullet to save my dog. I feel your pain (not the arm one, though).

lol im just trying to figure out how this day can get better. Let me do a quick recount.
1 I have to get surgery
2 my dog is dying but even at his age im going to pay for the surgery. Hes my bud so i cant go down without a fight.
3 home loan got approved
4 the people with the same staircase that fucked me up fired the other crew and want me back doing it
5 IRS just called saying i owe them 25 grand
6 im pretty sure my lawyer was going to court today to fight a ticket i got in the accident i had.
I wonder what the odds are for me today that i picked up a bench warrant for something? I going to bed early to end this bullshit.
