I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a bad day.
When you do as many staircases as i do eventually something is bound to happen. Today i slipped but caught myself with one arm before hitting the floor. Probably wouldn't be a problem if i didnt already have a stage 3 shoulder impingement. So my day was ended at noon with a non functioning arm. Tomorrow according to the wife i will be told i bruised it but seeing as nothing hit the ground aside from my hand im going with i tore my shoulder the rest of the way apart. xrays and mri im sure are in the near future followed by surgery. Well at least i've had aflac for like 5 years now and will be submitting my claim. I guess its a good time to except one of those field supervisor positions.

And why is the wifes first thought ,while im trying to fill my cup with some soda, to poke at it? Seriously why do females do that shit? She's known me for 20 years. By now she should know if I called to make a doctors appointment there's obviously something seriously wrong. Christ i walked around with a broken hand for 2 weeks not 3 months ago. Come to think of it it has not been a good year thus far.

Well xray shows no breaks and mri is being scheduled. The look on their faces when they tell what prescription they're giving you and you tell them i dont need the pain pills cracks me up every time. Im not sure if its a look of surprise or disgust. Maybe even a bit of both. So far best guess with out the mri is at least a partial tear of the rotator cuff. I hate being right sometimes.

I love that look too. Never knew what my pain threshold was until I broke my leg and basically detached my foot from my leg (internally obviously). In the ER after x-rays they prescribed some vicodin until the ortho guy could get to me in a day or two I took the one they gave me in the ER but didn't really think I needed it. Didn't take another after that. Had to go for surgery later and after surgery where they put metal plates and 6 screws in my leg/ankle to hold everything together the nurse comes in and asks about pain and basically tried to figure out how strong of meds they should give me and I told her I was fine. Never took any pain meds for it after that first one in the ER. They all looked at me like I was a mutant or something.
