Im not an emotional person by nature. That makes it easy for me to get past them when they do surface but not this time. What made it even harder is how he went and then having to go to work an hour after i buried him. You dont wish what i saw happening to him on anyone and if anyone deserved to pass in their sleep it was him.

Thanks guys. I have two other dogs that you can tell is upset. She would spend her time following him around and cleaning him and now she just sulks in the corner. The other just sits around and whines. It would appear he didn't mean the world to just me.

Sorry for your loss. Sometimes I feel I have a deeper connection with my cat than I do human beings. I can always count on him to love me unconditionally. Not looking forward to feeling your sorrow the day he passes.
