Savannah, GA
Just got back from Savannah, GA a few days ago. That place is pretty neat. We went on a tour through the city and saw all the historical stuff in 45 minutes on the first day to get a feel for the place and then the second day, we got off the tour at the places that interested us.
I am a history nut, so Savannah suited me very well. The only thing we didn't get a chance to see was Fort Pulaski. Maybe next time. Anyone else been to Savannah before? What did you think?

Savannahīs a really nice laid back, cultural, little town... Itīs got awesome restaurants too...you probably went to River Street right? Did you go to Olympia or Il Pasticcio? ....DELICIOUS mediterranean restaurants...highly recommend those if you go to Sav. again.

Re: Savannah, GA
My brother lives there.. he keeps bugging me to go down, but he often doesn't live in the real world, where, you know.. shit takes money... and some of us have to pay our own way... Silly things like that.
He does say it's a great place... perhaps a winter visit for me, as I fuckin hate high heat and high humidity environments.
Snow FTW!

Born there. Lived there for 7 years as an adult from '96 to '03. As already stated very laid back and very clickish. Old money. My family has lived there forever. Most of them are river pilots or work for Gulfstream. My greatgrandfather started the first tugboat company on the Savannah River.
As far as restaurants go if you didn't go to Lady and Sons you missed out.

Ga has alot of good memories for me as a kid, and alot of tragedy as well. I would love to go back though.
