Re: Really?
I normally would not poke my head in on this, but there is one question I have. How many people were on the server during this time period?

Re: Really?
Chosen, I really don't mean to complain as much as I mean to vent.
There was nothing really "dirty" going on - simply a case on Sharqi where our team didn't have anyone going for the MI-28 (I joined late, or I would have - had I seen it available) - and the opposing force stole it and kicked our asses many times over. Nothing against the rules or anything - just an exceptionally frustrating situation because the MI-28 is overpowered when you provide it the opportunity to react to a relatively small opposing force.
That said - there were between 8 and 14 players on while this was going on.
My opinion - for what it's worth - is that there was nothing *really* wrong with what was being done - I'm sure in their minds I am sure they saw it as competing against myself and CRX. We're big boys - we can handle it - and we should both be able to come up with ways to take them out (indeed we did). It's not like I wasn't circling the airfields on Kubra on Sunday in an effort to mess with Blue
That said - I don't blame Rhymatik for being angered by the situation (this or one similar) that was faced - that was really my point here And I do respect the fact that he chose to try and fight through it - that's what TTP regulars SHOULD do - that said, I don't think there are that many people who would . . .

Re: Really?
I was just curious and I would suggest that this post really should have been in their forums as opposed to this one. Not that they can't see it, but I say go directly to the source. It's always better that way.

Re: Really?
If I felt like I had issue with directly [IRON], or any other clan, I would.
I was just posting to comment on Rhyth's point - but where he posts is up to him
I'd say a lot of the top players, regardless of clan, have been involved in this sort of thing. I'm perfectly capable of it too. I'm sure I've done this sort of thing on Vanilla in the past.
I don't think there are any accusations or anything being made, in the end.

Re: Really?
I'm going to add to this for one reason... The vanilla server was the low man on the totem pole last night. I'm assuming because of the IP change of course.
And it was HORRIBLY stacked for multiple rounds. There was maybe 20 people max on and two rather large resident clans were stacked on one side with myself and a bunch of other non-tags... A few of which were regulars... I requested nicely even "how about a <clan> vs <clan> and get some people switching sides here?" The response was less than productive and MAYBE 1 or 2 people switched. Tempers were getting a bit fired up as well and frankly the whole situation wasn't very good.
I think we should all play as best as we can but in a low pop situation where we're trying to get the servers populated and up to capacity, we should be constantly aware of what's going on and try to unstack the sides. Like I said... Do the best you can... but make sure the game is enjoyable for everyone.
Just 2 more pennies from my bag o two cents...

Re: Really?
I totally understand the feeling that has been expressed here. On Kubra Dam I had the same fustration and actually let it get the best of me with an out burst to Chosen.
All that being said....I still think it is something we as a team have to deal with. I am not in favor of forcing anyone to change sides unless they want to out of the goodness of their heart.
The wheel always turns....and when it turns in my favor I will enjoy killing the hell out of any one.....especially HRD and IRON guys! I have a long memory and I know that "The sun don't shine on the same dogs back all the time!"

Re: Really?
I normally feel the same way... I'm just thinking of the server in this instance... Trying to populate it doesn't really work if one side is lopsided and doesn't want to split up. Those that are getting their buttocks hung out to dry just leave and we wind up with what happened... I think it dropped to about 10 people total before I left as well (L4D was gearing up for launch!)
But normally... yeah... beat the shit out of me this round... next round... and maybe another... But eventually *I* will be the one teabagging your ass gleefully and dancing on some virtual graves.
