Aww Dusty. Chinese remedy thingy: add some slices of ginger and a bit of brown sugar to some hot water and drink it. Then cover yourself with a bunch of sheets. You're supposed to sweat a lot and that restores your feng sui balance or something. I dunno, but my mom gives me that when I've got a cold and its supposed to help. Get well soon Dusty!

Sweating a lot does help because it means your body is attempting to achieve a temperature most virus's do not appreciate, of coarse if you get to warm you die. Sugar particularly sucrose is not a good thing as it actually reduces the effectiveness of your immune system.

Diuretics like garlic are helpful as basically they flush more fluid through your system and your kidneys get to filter more of the crap in your system. Very important when you take something like garlic is to drink plenty of water or again the dying possibility rears its ugly head.
