Oh Noes! Forest Fires!

Well it's forest fire season, some of you cali people must know what this is like. Anywho; this is a dangerous time up here in Flagstaff Arizona as we are right in the middle of the largest Ponderosa Pine forest in the world. As it stands now there are 3 pretty massive fires all on the edges of the city. It's still to early to tell where they're headed but My family almost got evacuated last night. The neighborhood at the end of our street got evac'd and we were on alert. Last night the fire closest to us grew much bigger in size but the winds shifted and it's now moving away from us towards the I-17. No pics of the one from last night because I didn't think about it. Here are some ones though of the one started today coming at us from the other side. This one was started by moonshiners out in the forest. Dang drunks

...They...they made me do it...it was...it was the serbian nationalists...they acquired some soviet SCUD missiles and made me shoot bottle-rockets at them

EDIT: you can't see it, but if he would have turned the camera about another 30 degrees, you would see the lovely San-Fransisco Peaks.

Man, this day just keeps getting better and better. I guess there's a fourth fire which broke out today. So Flagstaff is surrounded by 3 now, and one outside of town in Williams. Already over 1,000 homes have been evaccuated. I've got friends who've had to leave, sad day
