Thread: Sisters Wedding

Well the whole reason im back in florida this week is my little sister is getting married. It was an interesting trip going from huntsville, alabama to columbus, mississippi to pick up my brother from the job site he was running and dropping him off in jacksonville so i can head back to orlando. Now we both get to put everyone in the cars and head to key west. I guess they charted a boat to run everyone to some island with a fort on it. Should be pretty cool as long as it doesnt rain. I'll make sure the wife takes pics but from what i understand the wedding part is informal as in bathing suites or at least thats what i get out of it. Kind of strange but it isnt my wedding so whatever floats their boat.

Hes a good guy and i think would do just about anything for her so they have had my support since the beginning. He will be the cuban in the family tree. Thats one branch i never thought about seeing. They have both done well for themselves. Both finished law school and opened a practice. Of course my sister got 2 or 3 degrees before she decided to be a lawyer. Good deal no all i have to do is figure out what to get them. I cant get them anything normal it has to be funny but usefull.

I have been doing some thinking in regards to my salt water pond. Seeing as im never here to take care of it i think it time i release oscar and nips. What better place then key west to release a nurse shark and a grouper. Guess i'll break out the airrators and the coolers. They've earned it the wife throws food at them every couple days but she was never keen on the idea to begin with. She just indulged my hobby and she knows if im not here to change the water they will die.

So its going to be a good week end for all sister gets married i get a very small vacation and oscar and nips get set free. I would like to do it over a reef that i know but it may be pushing it. 7 hours in a cooler just for the drive then another 2 hours on a boat. So i think realistically they will be let go somewhere around key largo at a spot i know. Kind of sucks those guys are important to me but in the end they will have a better life. No matter what i do to the water in the pond its not going to be like the ocean.

Next time i build the pond bigger but keep it simple small fish and reef. Nothing that i will end up feeling bad about not having enough room to swim.
