My weekend...

So, you wonder how my weekend was.....

Mother and baby hit by car in Fresno | abc30.com

My cousin and her 7month old son were hit by a car while out walking with her friends.
The guy was going about 40 mph and just clipped her and Tatum.
Her leg is broken (broke through the skin)and was dangling ). She almost lost her foot. Her head hit the windshield and then she bounced off the car. Her son was strapped in the stroller and was thrown down the street on impact. I am not sure how but they are both ok and doing well. She has a rod holding her right leg together a cast on her left leg and a chip in her spine.
The baby, Tatum, only had a few scratches on his forehead and he was face down in the stroller on the street. The guy wasn't drunk and didn't flee the scene so we don't know what will happen to him.

Oh wow that's horrible but everyone can be grateful that that they made it out ok and it's good that the guy's taking responsibility rather than trying to run

At that speed she is very lucky to be alive. I have seen many that were not as fortunate. Scary situation, glad to here she is recovering.

fuckity ouch i dunno what they could get the guy for wreckless driving? if he was at fault but shes probably got a hell of a law suit on her hands although i can imagine a huge chunk of that would go to medical bills
