Re: Just found out my wife is a bully.
I've been around a few completely blind and a few completely blind and deaf dogs. Specifically im talking about Australian Shepherds that are born this way because of fucking breeders trying to breed a certain way, pretty fucked up stuff. Anyways, I went to a biker rally that raised donations for shelters that take in these guys. I'll tell you what, they are some of the most loving pooches in the world. Really really loving dogs.
@ Digi - I'd be willing to do a little Dr. Kevorkain work if your retardedness is too much for you to bear anymore..
@ DeathGod - Take it easy on the old fella, but I'm in for funny updates! 8)

Re: Just found out my wife is a bully.
Why should i put him down? Hes perfectly fine and happy. You can tell hes not keen on the whole being blind thing but its new to him and he functions just fine with it. Besides i get a good laugh out of it once in awhile. He also has a thyroid problem but i have thought of a solution. He always has been lazy as hell until food was around. So im thinking leash him to alexcis and let her wound up ass drag him along. Hes a pure breed and just like ever other one i have ever seen he has issues. Until one arises that could cause him to be in pain or die in a painfull way he will stay where he is. Thats whats best for him regardless of my opinion and he proves that everyday as he plays with the puppy from next door that keeps breaking in thru the fence. So no i wouldnt call him defective but hes definitely been thrown a couple curve balls.

I dont agree. there is a thing called quality of life and that is what you have to take into account here. How old is the dog and what is his normal life span? If he is truly blind then he is suffering. It doesn't have to be about pain to see an animal is suffering.
I recently had to put down a dog that was like a son to me. At the end of the day we prolonged the put down because of my boys and my wife couldn't stand the thought. It was not in the best interest of the dog.
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!

Death....I am not telling you to put your dog down. I just expressing an opinion that blindness could be a reason to do it. I dont have your dog and I dont see the condition it is in, only you do. so I hope you don't take offense to my post above.
Course if your wife keeps kicking the shit out of him, you aren't going to have to worry about it long.
Oh and one other thing.........did you ever think that your wife is practicing on the dog what she would like to do to you?

Re: Just found out my wife is a bully.
No one knows how old he is. I ended up with him because he was thrown out of a car on a major road near my house one morning like 7 years ago and my sister picked him up. Hes lazy but still active and healthy if you take the glaucoma and thyroid issue out of the picture. I will say he does have some grey hair but i have no idea the normal life span for a miniture pinchure.
If i thought he was in pain or miserable i would put him down. Hes not my kind of dog but he does grow on you so it would still suck to do. You should know i would never take offense to someone posting an opinion. Sometimes it can be a perspective you haven't thought about. He at least still has a couple good years ahead of him unless he gets another curve thrown his way. Plus after watching him get tossed house to house until he ended up at mine i gave him my word he will not be tossed aside again. So even to my wifes dismay he will not be going anywhere until it is in his best interest.
